Nintendo's material
The Legend of Zelda, its titles, characters, names, maps, icons and artwork belong to Nintendo. They appear here only as far as is needed to explain the games. QuestFern claims no ownership of any of it and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo.
Screenshots
Screenshots in the step-by-step guides are frames from YouTube videos that their authors released under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence. The licence is checked on the video's own page each time a frame is taken. Every image credits the author and links to the second of the video it comes from, and frames are cropped but not otherwise altered. The game imagery inside those frames remains Nintendo's.
Embedded videos
Videos are embedded with the platform's official player and remain the property of their creators. Nothing is downloaded, re-uploaded or re-hosted.
Map imagery
The terrain shown on the interactive shrine map is Nintendo's artwork, in the form extracted by the community object-map project ZeldaMods, which is credited on the map itself. The shrine positions, names and search data laid over it are this site's own compilation.
Takedown notices
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, write to hello@questfern.com with “Copyright” in the subject line and include:
- the address of the page and a description of the material;
- a description of the work you own, with a link if it is online;
- your name and a way to reach you;
- a statement that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
Valid notices are acted on promptly: the material comes down first and any questions are sorted out afterwards.
