Kiuyoyou Shrine hands you ice and a fire and asks how much of the ice you want left.
1. Melt the ice for the first switch
Shrink the ice. Grab the huge ice block with Ultrahand and hold it in the nearby fire until it has melted down a bit, then pull it out.
Weigh down the switch. Set the now-smaller block on the switch beside the big gate on your left. The gate opens.

2. Chest and the updraft
Line up the chest. In the big room, look left for a chest on a high ledge. Carry the small ice block over and put it on the ledge below the chest.
Ascend. Walk under that ledge and use Ascend to reach the block.
Lift, drop, Recall. Raise the block with Ultrahand, bring it back down, climb on and Recall it. It rises and carries you to the chest — Zonaite Spear.
Glide onward. Walk to the nearby incline and ride the updraft across to the next area.

3. Ice and slab on the big switch
Shield the fire. Grab the stone slab in front of you. Let the ice block that drops into the fire melt completely, then use the slab to block the flames and wait for the next block to drop.
Join ice and slab. Attach the fresh full-size ice block to the stone slab with Ultrahand.
Slide it. Set the ice-and-slab on the inclined spiked platform so it slides across to the other side of the room.
Park it on the big switch. Carry the pair back to the big switch in the first room and put it down with the slab facing the fire so the ice stays cold. The altar gate opens — take the Light of Blessing.

How do I get the chest in Kiuyoyou Shrine?
In the big room, put the small ice block on the ledge below the chest, Ascend up from underneath, lift the block with Ultrahand and set it back down, then stand on it and Recall — it lifts you to the chest with the Zonaite Spear.
Why does my ice keep melting on the big switch?
Place the block with the stone slab between the ice and the fire. The slab blocks the flames; if the ice side faces the fire it melts and the switch releases.
