West of the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island. You reach it during The Closed Door main quest — it cannot be entered before that quest is active. Rauru grants Ultrahand at the entrance. Names and coordinates below match our full 152-shrine table.
Ukouh Shrine is the first shrine in Tears of the Kingdom and the one that hands you Ultrahand, the ability the rest of the game is built on. Its trial, The Ability to Create, is a three-room tutorial in moving and joining objects.
1. Bridge the Two Gaps
First gap. Grab the stone slab on the right with Ultrahand and lay it across the ledge as a bridge.
Second gap. Grab the upright slab, move it against the flat one and attach them, then lay the joined piece across the wider gap.

2. Build a Ramp for the Hidden Chest
Hidden chest. Before crossing, lay both slabs flat, attach them end to end and tilt the long piece into a ramp against the corner ledge — the chest on top holds Amber. If the pieces attach crooked, wiggle the right stick to break them apart and retry.

3. Attach Hook to Board for the Zipline
Zipline. In the last room, attach the hook (on the floor) to the middle of the wooden board leaning on the wall, hang the hook on the zipline rail, jump on and ride down.

How do I get the chest in Ukouh Shrine?
In the room with the second gap, put both slabs flat on the ground, attach them end to end, then tilt the joined piece into a ramp against the high corner ledge. Climb it for the chest, which holds Amber.
What do you get from Ukouh Shrine?
A Light of Blessing from the altar and one chest containing Amber — plus Ultrahand itself, granted when you enter.
