What does the Breath of the Wild map show?

All 120 base-game shrines, the 15 Sheikah Towers, the stables, the 900 Korok Seeds, and where Hinox, Stone Talus, Lynels, Molduga and Guardians appear.

Is my progress on the map saved?

Yes, in this browser, without an account. A point ticked here is also ticked in the checklist on its guide page, and the other way round. Clearing the browser data for this site removes the ticks.

Why are the Korok Seeds not shown when the map opens?

There are 900 of them, which would cover everything else. Tick Korok Seeds in the list to show them; the map remembers what you chose for next time.

How do I use the map?

Tick the kinds you want in the list; on a phone, the Show button opens the list. Click a point to see its name, the nearest landmark and its X, Y coordinates. The Guide link opens the page about that point: a shrine opens its own walkthrough, everything else opens its list page.

The search box looks through names, landmarks and kinds.

Is progress saved?

Tick Done on a point and it turns green; Hide ticked removes finished points from view. Ticks stay in this browser and need no account. They use the same saved lists as the checklists on the guide pages, so the Korok you tick here is already ticked on the Korok page.
