Leg armor changes things. The game says Blue Hinox “wear greaves that can be burnt away to expose their feet”, and Black Hinox “wear metal greaves that conduct electricity rather well”. Game8: set wooden greaves alight and the Hinox flails trying to put them out; shock metal ones with a Thunderblade or a Shock Arrow to stun it.

How do you get the Medal of Honor: Hinox?

Beat every Hinox, Blue Hinox, Black Hinox and Stalnox at least once, then talk to Kilton at the Fang and Bone; he hands over the Medal of Honor: Hinox (Zelda Dungeon). It has no use beyond bragging rights. There are matching medals for Taluses and Moldugas.

Beat every Hinox, Blue Hinox, Black Hinox and Stalnox at least once, then talk to Kilton at the Fang and Bone (Zelda Dungeon).
What does a Hinox drop?
Hinox Toenails and Hinox Teeth, Hinox Guts at 20% (red), 50% (Blue) or 100% (Black), and food: fruit from a red Hinox, roasted fish from a Blue one, roasted meat from a Black one. A Stalnox drops only Hinox Teeth.
How do you beat a Hinox fast?
Shoot its eye: it falls down and you get a few seconds of free hits. When it starts covering the eye with its hand, freeze it with Stasis+ and shoot the eye then (Game8).
