On Mount Lanayru, west of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. The area is cold, so equip cold-resistant clothing or prepare warming food before starting the route. The shrine remains hidden until you complete the light-ring course. Coordinates match our 152-shrine table.

Step-by-step solution

First reveal the shrine by following seven light rings from a sky island. Proving Grounds: Ascension then removes your equipment and tests how well you use the room’s vertical layout.

1. Reach the Shrine via Sky Island

Speak to Nazbi. Find Nazbi at the entrance to the Spring of Wisdom and begin the shrine route.

Reach the sky-island sigil. Launch from Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and glide to the island above the Spring of Wisdom. Examine the sigil to reveal the first ring.

Follow all seven rings. Slide through the first ring, dive after the descending light, and pass through the six rings that follow along the mountain path. The final ring reveals Zakusu Shrine.

2. Enter and Clear the First Floor

Take the entrance weapons. Your normal equipment is removed when the trial starts, so collect everything supplied at the entrance.

Clear the first floor. Defeat every Construct on the lower level; none can be left behind.

3. Ride the Balloon Upward

Ride the balloon upward. Use Ultrahand to place the candle on the balloon, then rise to the top and glide down to the next platform.

4. Fight Across the Upper Level

Fuse the rockets. Attach the available rockets to your weapons before continuing.

Fight across the upper level. Defeat the Constructs ahead and conserve arrows for enemies you can attack from above.

Use the room. Trigger the available traps when your weapons are not enough. Shoot Constructs from high ground, then glide across gaps to reach any enemies on lower sections.

5. Open the Door and Claim the Reward

Open the final door. Once every Construct is defeated, the upper door opens and your equipment returns. Use a rocket or the balloon to get back up if needed.

Collect the chest. Open the chest before the altar for the Soldier III Spear.
