On an island in the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago. Launch from Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and glide northeast to the nearby sky islands. Use the ready-made flying devices to travel east from island to island until you reach the shrine. Coordinates match our 152-shrine table.
Mayanas Shrine has two parts: return the green crystal from the higher island, then use ice plates to strike moving targets inside.
1. Reaching the Green Crystal
Activate the shrine terminal. The green beam points toward the crystal route.
Go to the island’s eastern edge. Find the ready-made hoverboard there.
Reach the higher island. Place the hoverboard safely on an elevated edge, board it, and steer toward the beam. Jump onto the ledge with the wooden vines when you are high enough.
Free the crystal. Cut through the first vines, go deeper into the room, and cut the second set to reach the green crystal.

2. Building and Returning the Crystal
Build the return vehicle. Use the nearby Wing, Sled, Fans, Steering Stick, and Batteries to make a flying vehicle. Attach the green crystal securely.
Return the crystal. Fly back to Mayanas Shrine, detach the crystal, and place it at the entrance.

3. The First Ice Plate Target
Make ice plates. Inside, throw Ice Fruit into the water or point the Frost Emitters at it. Make several plates so you can retry the shot.
Hit the first target. Use Ultrahand to lift an ice plate and release it down the ramp when the moving target is lined up. The altar door opens.

4. The Angled Metal Guide for the Second Target
Continue past the altar. Go to the back of the room to find the second target and the locked chest room.
Build an angled guide. Join the square metal plates into a long platform. Place it at an angle near the right wall of the spiked section, reaching as far forward as possible.
Redirect another ice plate. Make more ice, then slide one down the ramp near the right wall so it hits the metal guide and turns toward the target below the spikes.

5. Claiming the Rewards
Claim both rewards. Open the unlocked chest for the Mighty Zonaite Shield, then return to the altar for the Light of Blessing.

How do you unlock Mayanas Shrine?
Activate the terminal, use the hoverboard to reach the higher island, cut through the vines, attach the green crystal to a flying vehicle, and return it to the shrine.
How do you get the Mayanas Shrine chest?
Make an ice plate, build a long angled guide from the square metal plates, and slide the ice into that guide so it reaches the target beyond the spikes. The chest contains a Mighty Zonaite Shield.
