Video walkthrough

Step-by-step solution

Marari-in Shrine stays behind a wooden gate until Seeking the Pirate Hideout is complete.

1. Side Quest and Strongholds

Reach Eventide Island. Cross the Necluda Sea with a boat or Hover Bike. If you fly, bring enough energy cells to avoid dropping into the water.

Start the side quest. Go to Toronbo Beach and speak to Sesami beside the red tent.

Clear the three strongholds. Visit all three monster strongholds on Eventide Island and defeat the forces at each one.

Report to Sesami. Return to him after all three strongholds are clear. He points you toward the remaining hideout.

2. Pirates’ Hideout

Find the hideout entrance. Go to the island’s easternmost area, where the tallest beach stronghold stood. Continue east to the cliff, drop carefully, and enter the opening in the wall.

Defeat the hideout forces. Clear the Bokoblins and Boss Bokoblin occupying the cave and ship.

3. Bridge the Gap

Bridge the final gap. Go behind the ship. Use Ultrahand to join the nearby wooden planks into a bridge across the gap, then cross to Marari-in Shrine.

Activate the shrine. Examine the terminal and enter.

4. Claim the Blessing

Claim the blessing. Open the chest for a Ruby, then examine the altar for the Light of Blessing. Return to Sesami afterward to finish the side quest.
