Tadarok Shrine Location and Solution (Tears of the Kingdom)
How to find Tadarok Shrine in the River of the Dead Waterfall Cave (-1082, -2187, 0152), the fire-and-ice cube solution and the Mighty Zonaite Shield chest.

From Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, glide east to the River of the Dead waterfall on the Great Plateau; jump from the clifftop and steer through the fall (or walk in by the side entrance at its base). The plateau is cold — bring warm gear or food. A Like Like guards the cave. Coordinates match our 152-shrine table.
Tadarok Shrine sits behind a waterfall on the Great Plateau and plays fire, water, ice and metal against each other.
1. Cross the Pool and Block the Flames
Cross the pool. The first pool is electrified. Drop the giant stone cube in and walk over it.
Block the fire. Retrieve the stone cube and park it in front of the flame jet on the right wall — the falling ice cubes stop melting.

2. Treasure Chest
Chest. Set an ice cube below the raised platform and climb: Mighty Zonaite Shield.

3. Second Pool and Left Flame Block
Second pool. Pull the chained metal ball out of the electrified pool to make the water safe.
Put the metal cube from the pool onto the raised platform so it blocks the left wall’s flames.

4. Build Tower and Ascend
Stack an ice cube on the stone cube, lift the stack high, and drop it in the pool; climb on and Recall to ride the stack back up, then step onto the platform.
Attach the stone-ice stack onto the top edge of the metal cube — leaving room to stand underneath — and Ascend through the whole tower.

Inside the River of the Dead Waterfall Cave on the Great Plateau, Hyrule Field region. Jump from above the falls at -1092, -2163, 0143 and glide through the waterfall (a ground-level side entrance also exists). Cold protection is needed on the plateau.
How do I stop the ice melting in Tadarok Shrine?
Park the giant stone cube directly in front of the flame jet on the right wall. With the fire blocked, the falling ice cubes stop melting and become building material.
How do I get the chest in Tadarok Shrine?
Put an ice cube below the raised platform near the flame wall and climb it. The chest holds a Mighty Zonaite Shield.
