Use our interactive map to find a shrine or work through unfinished locations in a region. This guide covers the map controls. For puzzles inside a shrine, follow the walkthrough link in its details when available.

What can this map do?
The map includes 120 surface shrines and 32 sky shrines. It supports English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese name search, region filters, and a manual completion checklist.

How do I find my first shrine?
Choose the surface or sky layer. Select all layers if you do not know which one contains your shrine.
Open the search panel and enter a name. Trial text, shrine IDs, and coordinate fragments also work.
Select a result. The map moves closer and highlights the marker with a gold ring. Its details show the name, region, trial, and reference coordinates.
Follow the walkthrough link when one is available. A pending-guide message means the location exists on the map but has no linked walkthrough yet.
Try searching for Kyononis on the surface layer. A partial name is enough to narrow the results.
On desktop, close the explorer panel to free more map space, then reopen it with the search toggle. On mobile, the list starts closed and shrine details appear in a bottom panel after selection. You can close those details too.
Why is a shrine missing from my results?
Search text, layer, region, and the completed-shrine filter all apply together. Clear your search, select all layers and all regions, and disable the completed-shrine filter to restore the full set.
The all-layers option places surface and sky markers on the surface terrain. It does not combine both terrain images. Round markers represent surface shrines; square markers represent sky shrines. Switch specifically to sky terrain to inspect an island’s shape. The fit-results control frames the locations that match your current filters.
How do I save completed shrines?
Select a shrine and check its completion box. The marker and progress counter update. If completed shrines are hidden, that location also disappears from the current map and results.
The map shares its record with the all-shrine checklist on the same website and browser. Completion is manual: the website cannot read your console save or detect a cleared shrine.
Records remain in your current browser. They do not automatically move to another browser or device, and clearing website data can remove them. Private browsing is unsuitable for a lasting checklist. Resetting progress asks for confirmation and clears the shared map-and-checklist record.
Does a marker show the entrance?
Not necessarily. A cave warning means the marker identifies the shrine’s location, not the cave entrance. Reaching its horizontal coordinates may still leave you looking for a way inside.
This map does not currently plot cave entrances, walking routes, or Depths lightroots. Elevation is a reference value. Use a linked shrine walkthrough for any documented entrance instructions, prerequisites, and puzzles.
What if the terrain fails to load?
Terrain tiles require a network connection. Use the retry control after a loading error, or switch to the coordinate grid to keep viewing markers. The grid has no mountains or rivers and cannot tell you which routes are passable.
