TotK Daybreaker: How to Get It and Remake It

The Daybreaker is the shield of the Gerudo Champion Urbosa. Like her sword, the Scimitar of the Seven, it is not placed anywhere in Tears of the Kingdom: Isha in Gerudo Town forges both for you.

How do you get the Daybreaker?

1. The Missing Owner. Cara at the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town is worried about the owner, who went into the Toruma Dunes. Beat the Molduga that has Isha pinned down.
2. Pride of the Gerudo. Talk to Isha back in town. For the arms of the Seven she wants four diamonds, ten flint, a Gerudo Scimitar (decayed is fine) and a Gerudo Shield.

You get the shield and the sword together.

How do you get a new Daybreaker?

Ask Isha again. The shield alone takes one diamond, five flint and a Gerudo shield. She refuses while the old Daybreaker still exists somewhere in the world, so look for it first if you dropped it.

Is the Daybreaker a good shield?

Guard 48, durability 60. For durability it is third among the game’s 33 shields, behind the Hylian Shield (800) and the Sea-Breeze Shield (90). How to repair it is on weapon durability.
