Chilly food protects you from heat, not from fire. The elixir’s description calls it crucial for long journeys through the desert; for burning heat, see Fireproof.
Which ingredients give Chilly?
Six ingredients carry it, one of each kind: Chillfin Trout is the strongest in the cooking data (3), then Cold Darner and Chillshroom (2), and Winterwing Butterfly, Hydromelon and Cool Safflina (1). The game describes only two levels.
