Which bows fire more than one arrow?

Five bows fire three arrows per shot — the Lynel Bow, Mighty Lynel Bow, Savage Lynel Bow, Great Eagle Bow and Forest Dweller’s Bow — and the Duplex Bow fires two. The attack in the table is per arrow, so a three-shot bow can hit up to three times. That is why the Great Eagle Bow (28 × 3 arrows × 60 durability) and Savage Lynel Bow (32 × 3 × 45) lead on total damage before breaking; see best weapons.

Which bows have a special effect?

Two, by the game’s own descriptions:

• Zonaite Bow — “Power drains, and arrows can fly much farther according to how long a shot is charged.”
• Demon King’s Bow — “The higher your maximum number of hearts, the more its attack power increases.” GameWith and Zelda Dungeon give the rule: two attack per heart container, up to 60.

How do fused arrows work?

Any material fused to an arrow adds its fuse attack power, and teeth and claws count double on arrows (Zelda Dungeon): Bokoblin, Moblin and Boss Bokoblin Fangs, Horriblin Claws, Lizalfos Talons, Hinox Toenails and Teeth, Frox Fingernails, Lynel Hooves, and the dragons’ claws, talons and fang shards. A Keese Eyeball gives the arrow “a homing quality” (game text), and elemental materials such as Fire Fruit put their element on the arrow (Game8’s material list).
