The Monster-Control Crew are Hyrulean soldiers who march out to clear monster strongholds in Tears of the Kingdom. Three squads, led by Hoz, Toren and Flaxel, each have two Bring Peace side adventures. Join them, wipe out the stronghold together, and you get a Silver Rupee. This page covers where each squad is and how each battle goes. The full quest list is on side adventures.

How do the Bring Peace quests work?

Squad leaderFirst battleSecond battle
HozBring Peace to Hyrule Field!Bring Peace to Necluda! (Fort Hateno)
TorenBring Peace to Eldin!Bring Peace to Akkala! (Akkala Span)
FlaxelBring Peace to Faron!Bring Peace to Hebra! (South Tabantha Snowfield)

Talk to a squad leader to join, march with the soldiers to the stronghold, and defeat every monster there. The boss bar calls the enemy “Monster Forces”. When the battle is won, the leader pays you and tells you where the squad is headed next. As each quest log puts it, as long as the blood moon keeps bringing monsters back, the crew’s fight goes on.

Rewards: a Silver Rupee (100 rupees) for each battle. Finish all six and you also get the Monster-Control-Crew Fabric for your paraglider.

Where are Hoz’s two battles?

Bring Peace to Hyrule Field! Hoz and his squad are in Hyrule Field around the Hyrule Garrison Ruins, south of Lookout Landing. The stronghold is mostly Bokoblins with a Moblin.

Bring Peace to Necluda! Hoz then moves on to Fort Hateno in Necluda. Meet the squad near the fort and take the stronghold together.

Where are Toren’s two battles?

Bring Peace to Eldin! Toren’s squad waits near Lake Darman in Eldin. The stronghold is a cave, Lake Darman Monster Den. Inside are Blue and Black Bokoblins and a Black Moblin; deal with the Bokoblins before you take on the Moblin.

Bring Peace to Akkala! Next, Toren goes to the Akkala Span in Akkala. The monsters hold the bridge. Bombs and heavy two-handed swings can knock them off the edge, which is the quickest way to clear it.

Where are Flaxel’s two battles?

Bring Peace to Faron! Flaxel’s squad is by a ship moored on the Menoat River in Faron, west of Highland Stable. Monsters have taken over the ship and wrecked the only bridge to it. Rebuild the bridge with Ultrahand so the squad can cross. It is said you can also board alone without fixing the bridge and still finish the quest.

Bring Peace to Hebra! Flaxel then heads to a monster fort in South Tabantha Snowfield, south of Snowfield Stable. An iron ball blocks the entrance and the squad cannot get in. Move it with Ultrahand, or fuse it to a weapon and use it in the fight. Among the defenders is one of the big Boss Bokoblins, so come prepared.

What are the crew’s big-monster quests and medals?

The crew has a second job. After you finish one of its side adventures, Gralens of the monster-control crew, in the Emergency Shelter at Lookout Landing, offers quests about big monsters. Beat every one of a kind and he gives you a Monster Medal, “presented by the monster-control crew”.

What about Kilton?

In Breath of the Wild, Kilton sold monster gear for Mon. Tears of the Kingdom has no Mon and no Kilton shop. Kilton lives in Tarrey Town and wants to teach people that monsters have good sides too, so he asks Hudson to make monster sculptures. Hudson needs a detailed picture to work from:
