TotK White Sword of the Sky: How to Get It and Get It Back

The White Sword of the Sky is the game’s nod to Skyward Sword: “a sword said to have once belonged to a hero from the sky.” It is the reward for the side quest The Mother Goddess Statue, and the statue will give you another whenever you bring the three dragons’ claws.

How do you get the White Sword of the Sky?

Three Goddess Statues sit at the springs of courage, wisdom and power. Each asks for a claw from one dragon; offering it completes her request.

With all three done, the Mother Goddess Statue in the Forgotten Temple is restored. Pray to her for the sword. The full chain, including the visit to the toppled statue, is on Goddess Statues.

How do you get the White Sword of the Sky back?

Go back to the Mother Goddess Statue. She asks, “Have you lost the White Sword of the Sky?” and wants one claw each from Dinraal, Naydra and Farosh. Where the dragons fly and how to knock a claw off: dragon parts.

Is the White Sword of the Sky good?

24 attack, 45 durability. Among one-handed weapons only the Scimitar of the Seven and the Master Sword have more attack times durability. The game says that “when it’s wielded, a strange yet heavenly breeze kicks up around you.”
