TotK Eightfold Blade: Attack, Durability and Locations

Eightfold Blade is a one-handed weapon in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game describes it this way: “A single-edged sword of the Sheikah tribe. Its small blade, now decayed, is suited for covert actions and yields more powerful sneakstrikes than ordinary blades.” This page gives its numbers and maps every place the game puts one.

The decayed Eightfold Blade is the one found on the surface; the intact one, with its own Compendium number, is covered in pristine weapons.

Where do you get Eightfold Blade?

The game’s world data places it in 8 spots: 5 in treasure chests and 3 lying in the world.

Zoom the map in to tell the points apart, and pick a kind or a monster in the list above it.

The same spots summed by nearest landmark, largest group first. “Show on map” moves the map above to one of them.

• Treasure chest: a chest can be opened only once.
• Lying in the world: placed in the scenery, free to pick up.

How good is Eightfold Blade?

Decayed it has attack 6 and durability 16; intact, 15 and 26. The effect the game gives it: Yields more powerful sneakstrikes. The number is before Fuse; what a fused material adds is in the Fuse guide, and how durability runs down in weapon durability.
