BotW Royal Guard's Claymore: Attack, Durability and Locations

Royal Guard’s Claymore is a two-handed weapon in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game describes it this way: “The Sheikah used the very essence of ancient technology to forge this greatsword. It was designed to oppose the Calamity, but its low durability made it impractical in battle.” This page gives its numbers and maps every place the game puts one.

Where do you get Royal Guard’s Claymore?

The game’s world data places it in 2 spots: 1 carried by monsters and 1 lying in the world.

Zoom the map in to tell the points apart, and pick a kind or a monster in the list above it.

The same spots summed by nearest landmark, largest group first. “Show on map” moves the map above to one of them.

• Carried by a monster: beat the monster and it drops the weapon. Most often Black Moblin (1). Monsters get stronger weapons as you defeat more of them, so the one you meet may carry a better one.
• Lying in the world: placed in the scenery, free to pick up.
