Where is Noya Neha Shrine?

Look for a blocked cave on the island west of Hyrule Castle. Starting at Carok Bridge, cross eastward, turn north toward the island, and cross the narrow stream. Follow the island’s western edge north until you spot thorns on the hillside. Burn the thorns, then bomb the cracked rock behind them to reveal the passage.

What should you bring?

Getting in takes two tools: a source of fire to burn off the thorns and overgrowth, plus the Remote Bomb rune to blast the cracked rock behind them. For the arena, carry two or three healthy melee weapons — a Test of Strength chews through durability, and the Guardian Scout II (375 HP, wielding an Ancient Battle Axe) punishes a worn-out arsenal. Tactically the fight is forgiving: Perfect Guard (parry) its melee swings, or sidehop and backflip out of the way, then punish the recovery. This is the easiest tier of Test of Strength, so even a low-level loadout can win with clean dodging.

Solution: How do you beat the Guardian Scout?

This is a combat arena. Bring weapons for the fight; the entrance also requires fire and bombs. The following responses cover attacks the Scout can use, rather than a sequence you must wait for it to finish.

1. Defeat the Guardian Scout

Enter the central arena to bring up the Guardian Scout from the floor.

Evade its melee attacks and counterattack. Ice or electric attacks can help create an opening if you have them.

Stay clear of a spinning charge. If it uses this attack, move back in during the pause after it stops spinning.

Use the updraft if it sweeps the floor with a circular laser. Jump and open the paraglider to rise above the ground beam.

Run to avoid the powerful charged laser. Watch for this attack as the Scout nears defeat, and keep moving when it fires.

2. Open the Chest and Claim the Spirit Orb

Defeat the Scout and pass through the opened gate. Open the chest on the way to the monk.

Interact with the monk to receive the Spirit Orb and complete the shrine.

What do people miss here?

• Don’t navigate by the region tag: the shrine sits well north of Central Tower and east of Ridgeland Tower, so searching near the tower itself puts you on the wrong side of the map.
• The shrine is completely invisible from outside — it stays hidden inside the cave until you burn and bomb your way in, so circling the island looking for a glowing entrance is wasted time.
• The blockage isn’t just the thorn patch on the hillside: dead leaves and vines bury the whole path up to the cave, so plan to burn your way up the slope rather than clear a single spot.
• Approach from the west for the easiest run-in — fast travel to Ridgeland Tower and paraglide down toward the shrine’s location.
