What should you bring?
You only need the Magnesis rune on your Sheikah Slate — no weapon, Remote Bombs, Stasis, or Cryonis is used anywhere inside, and there is no combat since this is a puzzle shrine, not a Test of Strength. The route does involve climbing the crate stacks, so just have a sliver of stamina available. No special armor or resistances are required.
Use Magnesis to rearrange the metal objects. This route needs climbing but no specific weapon, bombs, Stasis, or Cryonis.

1. Collect the Entrance Chest

2. Reach the High Platform and Bring Down the Plate
Build a way up to the plate. Return to the floor and use Magnesis to move the crates beside the back-right platform. Stack them again and climb up.
Bring the plate down. Use Magnesis to lower the long metal plate from the high platform to the floor.

3. Build the Ramp to the Altar
Restack the crates near the altar. Move them onto the floor in front of the monk’s platform. Leave a gap between the stack and the ledge for the plate to span.
Lay the bridge across the gap. Position the plate with one end resting on the top crate and the other on the altar ledge, forming a ramp you can walk up.

1: Entrance-right ledge

What do people miss here?
Open the Amber chest before you dismantle anything. Its ledge is only reachable by climbing the crates in their starting stack — if you pull the stack apart first, you will have to rebuild it just to climb back up.
The long metal plate you need for the bridge does not start on the floor; it sits on the high platform in the back-right corner. Look up, bring it down with Magnesis, and only then move the crates toward the altar — doing it in reverse means hauling the stacks back and forth twice.
The final bridge does not need to be level. You are propping the plate into a ramp, with one end on the top crate and the other on the altar ledge, so a tilted plate is working as intended. This stack-and-plate setup is the fussiest part of the shrine, so a few collapsed attempts are normal.
Nothing here becomes unobtainable. If you claim the Spirit Orb and leave before noticing the chest, you can re-enter the shrine at any time — the Amber chest stays put, and the crates can always be restacked.
Where is Wahgo Katta Shrine near Riverside Stable?
Look north of Riverside Stable, across the road. The shrine is at 0346, -1008, 0136 and has no prerequisite shrine quest.
How do you get the chest in Wahgo Katta Shrine?
Climb the metal crates already stacked to the right of the entrance and open the chest on the adjacent ledge. It contains Amber, so collect it before moving those crates for the puzzle.
Why does my bridge keep falling in Metal Connections?
Adjust the crate stack so the plate can rest on both the top crate and the altar ledge. Lower each object close to its resting place before releasing Magnesis; dropping objects from high above can knock the stack apart.
