TotK Brightcap: Locations, Cooking Effect, and Armor Upgrades

Brightcap is a mushroom in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game describes it this way: “A mushroom that grows in caves and contains luminescent enzymes. Cook it into a dish to give a glowing effect to anyone who eats it.” This page shows where it is placed, explains what it does in a dish, and adds up what the armor upgrades need.

Where do you find Brightcap?

The map shows all 680 places the game’s world data puts Brightcap: 13 on the surface and 667 in caves. Zoom in, and tick the ones you have picked up.
