TotK Hero of Twilight Set: Cap, Tunic and Trousers of Twilight

The Hero of Twilight set is Link’s outfit from Twilight Princess. All three pieces are in Depths chests, and one of them is guarded by a King Gleeok. The full set gives Attack Up once each piece has two stars. The other hero sets are on the hero sets overview; every set is in all armor.

Where do you find each piece of the Hero of Twilight set?

• Cap of Twilight — the Gleeok Den, below the Thyphlo Ruins. The chest stays shut until you defeat the King Gleeok there; see Gleeok locations.
• Tunic of Twilight — Rist Mine.
• Trousers of Twilight — the Ancient Underground Fortress.

Which Old Maps point to the Hero of Twilight set?

The maps for the Cap and the Trousers are on the North Akkala Sky Archipelago, the one for the Tunic on the Sokkala Sky Archipelago. The Cap and Tunic maps are in chests on Flux Constructs. Opening a map marks its chest in the Depths. See all 31 Old Maps.

Can you get the Hero of Twilight set from an amiibo?

Yes. The Link (Twilight Princess) and Link (Super Smash Bros.) amiibo can drop pieces of this set. Bargainer Statues in the Depths resell any piece you have already had for 400 Poes; the statue at Lookout Landing does not.

What does the Hero of Twilight set bonus do?

Attack Up raises Link’s attack power. All seven hero sets share it.

How much defense does each piece give?

3 at base and 20 at four stars.

What does it take to upgrade the Hero of Twilight set?

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.
