The Hero of Awakening set is the only hero set on the surface rather than in the Depths. Each piece is the treasure of one of Misko’s riddles. The other hero sets are on the hero sets overview; every set is in all armor.
Where do you find each piece of the Hero of Awakening set?
Each piece is in a chest in a surface cave, and each is the treasure of one of Misko’s riddles:
- Mask of Awakening — Thundra Plateau Cave, Hyrule Ridge; quest Misko’s Treasure of Awakening III.
- Tunic of Awakening — Ancient Columns Cave, near the Ancient Columns; quest Misko’s Treasure of Awakening I.
- Trousers of Awakening — Coliseum Ruins Cave, under the Coliseum Ruins; quest Misko’s Treasure of Awakening II.

Can you get the Hero of Awakening set from an amiibo?
Yes. The Link (Link’s Awakening) amiibo can drop pieces of this set. Bargainer Statues in the Depths resell any piece you have already had for 400 Poes; the statue at Lookout Landing does not.

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.
