Where is Dagah Keek Shrine?

Dagah Keek Shrine is located near the pool at the bottom of Veiled Falls in the Lanayru Great Spring, near Zora’s Domain. Initially the shrine is buried underground, so until the shrine quest is done you’ll see nothing at the site but the falls and a pedestal like the one Mipha’s Statue rests on. From Zora’s Domain, make your way to the base of Veiled Falls and search the pool for that pedestal.

What should you bring?

No runes, special gear, or resistances are needed — the shrine itself contains no puzzles. The only ‘key’ is a trident: the Ceremonial Trident that Trello drops off a bridge in Zora’s Domain (he says whoever picks it up can keep it), or the Lightscale Trident. An ordinary spear will not work. Beyond that, you just need to be able to jump and press the attack button in midair to perform the downward thrust onto the pedestal.

How do you solve Dagah Keek Shrine?

This is a Blessing shrine — the entire trial is the shrine quest itself: recreate the pose of Mipha’s statue by driving a trident straight down into the pedestal at the base of Veiled Falls.

1. Get the Ceremonial Trident

After freeing Divine Beast Vah Ruta, go to Zora’s Domain and talk to Laruta, the Zora singing in front of Mipha’s Statue; when she asks, choose “I want to hear it.” Her Champion Festival Song (“A gift from the sky… a scale of light… splits the feet… of a Veiled Falls sight… your trial awaits… it’s glowing bright…”) begins the Shrine Quest The Ceremonial Song.

Find Trello in Zora’s Domain. He explains that the Ceremonial Trident — a replica of the Lightscale Trident used in the Champion Festival — was to be examined by Dento, but he dropped it off the bridge on the way, and whoever picks it up can keep it.

Go to that bridge and dive into the water below it to recover the Ceremonial Trident.

Bring the trident back to Trello. He confirms that, in addition to its combat use, it has the same power as the Lightscale Trident and was originally meant to lead a hero to a trial, according to the legend.

Talk to Trello again afterwards: he now remembers the legend — there is a pedestal at Veiled Falls just like the one Mipha’s Statue rests on, and the trident must be thrust into it to replicate the statue’s pose. The Zora tried it long ago and nothing happened, but someone with the Champion’s talents may fare better.

2. Raise Dagah Keek Shrine at Veiled Falls

Equip the Ceremonial Trident (or the Lightscale Trident) and leave Zora’s Domain for Veiled Falls in the Lanayru Great Spring — the shrine’s site is the pool at the bottom of the falls.

At the base of the falls, look for the pedestal by the pool. You will not see a shrine yet — it is still buried underground.

Jump into the air above the pedestal and press the attack button while airborne, so Link thrusts the trident straight down into it, matching the pose of Mipha’s statue. A standing stab from the ground will not activate it.

The pedestal activates and Dagah Keek Shrine rises from beneath the ground, completing The Ceremonial Song.

3. Enter the blessing shrine and claim your reward

Enter the shrine. The monk Dagah Keek greets you and states that by entering this place you’ve already proven your worth. This is a Blessing shrine with no puzzles — just a direct path to the Monk’s Pedestal.

Walk down the path and open the treasure chest along the way: it holds a Silver Rupee, worth 100 Rupees.

Approach Dagah Keek at the Monk’s Pedestal. He bestows a Spirit Orb for reaching the shrine and wishes you well before fading away.

What do people miss here?

• Arriving at Veiled Falls and finding no shrine is completely normal — it is buried underground until the pedestal is activated. Perform the trident-to-pedestal step to make it rise; this also completes The Ceremonial Song.
• An ordinary spear will not activate the pedestal. Only the Ceremonial Trident or the Lightscale Trident works, so don’t leave Zora’s Domain without one of them.
• The activation hit must be a midair downward thrust: jump above the pedestal and attack on the way down. Stabbing at it from the ground does nothing.
• Talk to Trello a second time after recovering the trident — only then does he recall the lyrics and point you to the pedestal at Veiled Falls. Skip that conversation and you’re left guessing where to go.
• The Ceremonial Trident is a keeper: Trello says whoever finds it can keep it, and besides its ceremonial role it has combat use as a spear.
• Strictly speaking, the shrine can be accessed at any time — the pedestal responds to a proper trident thrust even if you never start the quest. Freeing Divine Beast Vah Ruta and talking to Laruta simply unlocks the hints that point you here.
