What should you bring?

Almost nothing is required: this is a ball-launching timing puzzle, not a Test of Strength, so there is no combat and no resistance or special gear requirements. Any weapon works for striking the crystal switches — no particular weapon type is needed. Two Sheikah Slate runes are optional conveniences: Stasis to help sync the left side’s moving panels, and Cryonis for the alternative route to the ice-arrow chest. Have your Paraglider ready for the descent to the entrance passage.

Solution: How do you solve Impeccable Timing?

Left and right below are measured from the entrance, facing into the room. Carry the supplied balls by hand and strike the crystal switches with a weapon. No particular weapon type is required for this route; Stasis is an optional timing aid.

1. Right Launcher: Ice Arrows

Load the right launcher. Pick up a ball and place it in the V-shaped launcher beside the right crystal switch.

Watch the moving bowl, then fire. Try striking the switch as the bowl reaches its far-right position and starts moving back. A successful landing sends a chest to your platform; open it for the ice arrows. If you miss, load another ball and adjust the timing.

2. Left Launcher: Small Key

Load the left launcher. Carry another ball to the opposite launcher. Its target is blocked by rising and falling panels.

Bring the barriers closer into sync. If their alternating movement is difficult to judge, briefly freeze a panel with Stasis. Watch the pattern after it resumes moving; the aim is to make the panels move more nearly together.

Fire through the opening and take the key. Strike the left switch when the route to the bowl is clear. Once the ball lands, open the chest delivered to the platform for the small key.

3. Unlock the Exit

Unlock the exit. Use the key on the door across the room, then approach the monk to finish the trial.

Chests: What is inside each chest?

The reward chests come back to your platform after a successful shot.

What do people miss here?

  • Floria Falls is made up of several waterfalls, but the shrine hides behind only the highest one — the tier fed by Riola Spring. Searching around the lower falls turns up nothing.
  • The east-side passage is not the only way in: you can also leap off the cliff next to the waterfall and paraglide straight through the waterfall curtain at about half its height.
  • The room gives you five balls but you only need two — the spares exist precisely because the timing is tricky, so a few missed shots will not leave you stuck.
  • If you browse the map by province, do not search Faron proper: geographically the shrine sits in West Necluda at Floria Falls — ‘Faron’ only refers to the nearest tower.

FAQ

How do I get behind the waterfall to Shoda Sah Shrine?
Find the waterfall flowing from Riola Spring, northeast of Faron Tower. Enter the passage on its east side; you can drop to that passage from the Rodai Lake side.
How do I get the small key in Shoda Sah Shrine?
Use the left launcher to send a ball past the rising and falling panels into the target bowl. The mechanism sends back a chest containing the small key, which opens the exit door.
What are the Shoda Sah Shrine chest rewards?
The right target gives Ice Arrow x5, and the left target gives the small key. Open each chest after the mechanism launches it back to your platform.
Do I need Stasis or Cryonis for Shoda Sah Shrine?
The launchers can be solved by timing your switch strikes. Stasis helps align the left barriers, while Cryonis offers an alternative foothold for throwing a ball into the right target.
