Tears of the Kingdom Glide Set: Dive Ceremony Locations, Bonus, Upgrades

The Glide set is the set for the sky. Each piece makes skydiving more agile, and the full set at two stars removes fall damage. You earn the pieces from the Dive Ceremonies on three sky islands. For every set see all armor; the other upgrade tables are on armor upgrade materials.

Where do you find each piece of the Glide set?

Each piece is a Dive Ceremony reward (Game8). Talk to the Steward Construct on the island and dive through the rings:

• Glide Mask — Dive Ceremony on Valor Island.
• Glide Shirt — Dive Ceremony on Courage Island.
• Glide Tights — Dive Ceremony on Bravery Island.

The coordinates below are Game8’s for each ceremony.

What does the Glide set bonus do?

Zelda Dungeon: “Negates fall damage.” Each piece also has Skydive Mobility Up, which makes you faster and easier to steer while skydiving.

How much defense does each piece give?

2 at base and 16 at four stars, lower than most sets.

What does it take to upgrade the Glide set?

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.

The fourth star needs 12 Gleeok Wings per piece; every Gleeok drops them, see Gleeok locations. Aerocuda parts come from the Aerocudas that circle the sky islands and the chasms.

When should you wear the Glide set?

Wear it for sky island exploration and whenever you drop from a height, including the chasms into the Depths. With the set bonus you can land anywhere without a paraglider. Its low defense makes it a poor combat set; switch before a fight.
