Tears of the Kingdom Stealth Set: Where to Buy, Set Bonus, Upgrades

The Stealth set lets you sneak up on animals and sleeping monsters, and with the full set you also run faster at night. It is the first set you can simply buy once you reach Kakariko. For every set see all armor; the other upgrade tables are on armor upgrade materials.

Where do you find each piece of the Stealth set?

All three are sold at Enchanted, the armor shop in Kakariko Village (Game8):

• Stealth Mask — 500 rupees.
• Stealth Chest Guard — 700 rupees.
• Stealth Tights — 600 rupees.

What does the Stealth set bonus do?

Zelda Dungeon: “Increases movement speed during nighttime (9pm–4am).” Each piece on its own has Stealth Up: you make less noise, so animals and monsters notice you later.

How much defense does each piece give?

2 at base and 16 at four stars, lower than the 3 to 20 of most sets.

What does it take to upgrade the Stealth set?

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.

The materials are all quiet-themed plants and creatures, most of them easy to find at night. They are also the ingredients of sneaky (stealth) dishes, which stack with the set.

When should you wear the Stealth set?

Wear it to catch animals and insects, to hunt at night, to sneak up on sleeping monsters for a sneakstrike, and for night travel with the set bonus. Its defense is low, so change before a real fight.
