Tears of the Kingdom Zora Set: Helm, Armor and Greaves Locations, Bonus

The Zora set is the swimming set, and the Zora Armor on its own lets you swim up waterfalls. You get two of the pieces from the Zora’s Domain quests around the Water Temple. For every set see all armor; the other upgrade tables are on armor upgrade materials.

Where do you find each piece of the Zora set?

Two quest rewards and one chest (Game8; the Helm’s position from the game’s placement data):

• Zora Helm — chest in a cave on the side of Floating Scales Island.
• Zora Armor — reward for the main quest Restoring the Zora Armor in Zora’s Domain.
• Zora Greaves — reward for the side quest A Token of Friendship, after you finish the Water Temple.

What does the Zora set bonus do?

Zelda Dungeon: “Dashing while swimming consumes 50% less stamina.” Each piece has Swim Speed Up; the Zora Armor also lets you swim up waterfalls.

How much defense does each piece give?

3 at base and 20 at four stars.

What does it take to upgrade the Zora set?

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.

Every star needs Lizalfos parts, from plain Lizalfos horns up to Black Lizalfos horns and Blue Lizalfos tails at the top. Opal, 20 per piece at four stars, comes from ore deposits. For the Water Temple boss and the other temples see temple bosses.

When should you wear the Zora set?

Wear the Armor whenever you need to climb a waterfall, and the full set for long swims in Lanayru and along the coast. The Zora Armor alone is often enough; add the other two pieces for the bonus if you swim a lot.
