TotK Hylian Set: Lookout Landing Prices, Defense and Upgrades
Where to buy the Hylian Hood, Tunic and Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom, what each piece costs, why the set has no bonus, and its Bokoblin-part upgrades.
The Hylian set is the first armor you can buy once you reach the surface. It has no set bonus, but it is cheap and upgrades to 20 defense a piece. For the other set with no bonus see the Soldier’s set; every set is in all armor, and the first steps in the game are on beginner tips.
Where do you buy the Hylian set?
All three pieces are sold at the armor shop in Lookout Landing:
- Hylian Hood — 70 rupees.
- Hylian Tunic — 130 rupees.
- Hylian Trousers — 120 rupees.

What does it take to upgrade the Hylian set?
Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.
