Tears of the Kingdom Rubber Set: Helm, Armor, Tights Locations and Bonus
Where to find the Rubber Helm, Rubber Armor and Rubber Tights in Tears of the Kingdom, the Lightning Proof set bonus, defense and every upgrade.
The Rubber set is the answer to electricity: each piece gives Shock Resistance, and the full set at two stars makes you immune to it. All three pieces are chests in caves. For every set see all armor; the Electro dishes that do the same job for a while are on Electro recipes.
Where do you find each piece of the Rubber set?
All three are cave chests (Game8; positions from the game’s placement data):
- Rubber Helm — Sarjon Woods Cave.
- Rubber Armor — Whistling Hill Cave, behind a rock wall you break with a bomb. Game8 warns of a Shock Like near it.
- Rubber Tights — Horon Lagoon Cave.

Immune to lightning strikes.
Active when all three pieces are at ★★ or higher.
Zelda Dungeon: “Negates all electric damage.” Each piece gives Shock Resistance on its own; the full set at two stars removes electric damage completely. The Desert Voe set bonus only reduces it.

What does it take to upgrade the Rubber set?
Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for rupees plus materials. The table is per piece; the whole set needs three times as much.

Every piece in this set uses these materials.
Every star needs Electric Lizalfos parts, so the Gerudo region is where to farm. Topaz comes from ore deposits. The other upgrade tables are on armor upgrade materials.
