The Dragon’s Tears are pools in the middle of huge pictures drawn on the ground — the geoglyphs. Each one shows a memory, and together they tell what happened to Princess Zelda. This page gives all twelve with coordinates, in the game’s own order, and how the quest unlocks them.

The number is the game’s own (its map markers are DragonTears01–12), and it is the order the memories are meant to be seen in; Game8’s recommended order is the same. Coordinates are X, Y as the in-game map shows them; each tear is at the centre of its geoglyph, so fly over the area first to see the picture. The landmark is the nearest named place on the map.
How do you unlock the Dragon’s Tears?
- Impa and the Geoglyphs. In the game’s words, Cado says Impa “is traveling Hyrule to see the so-called geoglyphs”; find them at New Serenne Stable. Fix the broken balloon so Impa can see the geoglyph from the air, then find the tear in it. That is tear 1, in North Hyrule Plain.
- The Dragon’s Tears. Impa sends you to the Forgotten Temple, “along the bottom of a canyon in Hebra”. Inside is “a map of Hyrule and 11 murals related to the geoglyphs” — the quest then counts the geoglyphs you have left.
- The twelfth tear. Once you have “visited all 11 geoglyphs”, a Light Dragon “shed a new tear”, which falls “to the Rist Peninsula in the Akkala region” — row 12.
What do you get for the Dragon’s Tears?
Nothing to carry, but the story: the quest ends when “these visions showed you Princess Zelda sacrificing herself, becoming the Light Dragon, and hoping to eventually entrust the Master Sword to you”. Honouring that wish is how the story leads you to the Master Sword.
