Breath of the Wild Stealth Set: Where to Buy, Set Bonus, Upgrades

The Stealth set is the Sheikah’s own armor, sold in Kakariko Village: it lets you creep up on animals and sleeping monsters, and with the full set you run faster at night. For every set see all armor; for the Great Fairies see armor upgrade materials.

Where do you find each piece of the Stealth set?

All three pieces, the Stealth Mask, Stealth Chest Guard and Stealth Tights, are sold at Enchanted, the armor shop in Kakariko Village (Game8).

What does the Stealth set bonus do?

Zelda Dungeon: “Increases movement speed during nighttime (9pm–4am).” Each piece on its own has Stealth Up: you make less noise.

How much defense does each piece give?

2 at base and 16 at four stars, lower than the 3 to 20 of most sets.

What does it take to upgrade the Stealth set?

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for materials only (no rupees). The table is per piece.

The materials are the same quiet-themed plants and creatures that cook into sneaky (stealth) elixirs and dishes, most of them easiest to find at night. The recipe finder lists those recipes.

When should you wear the Stealth set?

Wear it to catch animals and insects, to hunt, to sneak up on sleeping monsters, and to travel at night. Its defense is low, so change before a real fight.
