Breath of the Wild Zora Set: Helm, Armor and Greaves Locations, Bonus

The Zora set is the swimming set, and the Zora Armor alone lets you swim up waterfalls, which the Vah Ruta quest needs. The other two pieces are near Zora’s Domain. For every set see all armor; for the Great Fairies see armor upgrade materials.

Where do you find each piece of the Zora set?

Two quest rewards and one chest (Game8; the Helm’s position from the game’s placement data):

• Zora Armor — the main quest Divine Beast Vah Ruta in Zora’s Domain.
• Zora Greaves — the side quest Lynel Safari in Zora’s Domain.
• Zora Helm — a chest at Toto Lake.

What does the Zora set bonus do?

Zelda Dungeon: “Dashing while swimming consumes 50% less stamina.” Each piece has Swim Speed Up.

How much defense does each piece give?

3 at base and 20 at four stars.

What does it take to upgrade the Zora set?

Upgrades are done at a Great Fairy Fountain, one star at a time, for materials only (no rupees). The table is per piece.

Every star needs Lizalfos parts; the second and third add Hyrule Bass and Hearty Bass, and the fourth needs 15 Opals per piece. For the order to take on the Divine Beasts see Divine Beasts order; for Waterblight Ganon inside Vah Ruta see the Blights.

When should you wear the Zora set?

Wear the Armor whenever you need to climb a waterfall, and the full set for long swims in Lanayru and along the coast. The Zora Armor alone is enough most of the time.
