Breath of the Wild Radiant Set: Price, Stal Disguise Bonus, Upgrades

The Radiant set makes Link look like one of the Stal skeletons that come out at night. It is sold next to the Desert Voe set in the Gerudo Secret Club, and every piece costs Luminous Stones as well as rupees. For every set see all armor; for the Great Fairies see armor upgrade materials.

Where do you buy the Radiant set?

From Greta at the Gerudo Secret Club in Gerudo Town (Game8, Zelda Dungeon). The club is locked until you learn its password in the side quest The Secret Club’s Secret — the Desert Voe set page explains how. You need the Gerudo set to get into the town at all.

Each piece costs 800 rupees in the game’s shop data. Zelda Dungeon adds that Greta also wants 3 Luminous Stones for each piece, so the whole set costs 2,400 rupees and 9 Luminous Stones.

What does the Radiant set bonus do?

Zelda Dungeon: Stal enemies do not attack you (“Disguise”, Stal-type enemies only), and bone weapons deal 80% more damage (“Bone Atk. Up”).

Every star needs Luminous Stones: 5, 8, 10 and 20, so 43 per piece and 129 for the set from one star to four. The Molduga Guts at three stars come from the four Moldugas of the Gerudo Desert.

When should you wear the Radiant set?

Wherever Stal enemies are, since the disguise lets you walk past them, and whenever you fight with bone weapons, which the second bonus makes 80% stronger. Zelda Dungeon notes the catch: the game pushes you toward stronger metal and ancient weapons later, so the bone bonus matters less as you progress.
