Breath of the Wild Armor of the Wild: 120 Shrines Reward and Upgrades
How to get the Cap, Tunic and Trousers of the Wild in Breath of the Wild after all 120 shrines, the Master Sword Beam Up bonus and every dragon-part upgrade.
The Armor of the Wild is the game’s reward for finishing every shrine, and one of the strongest sets for defense. For every set see all armor; for the Great Fairies see armor upgrade materials.
How do you get the Armor of the Wild?
- Finish all 120 shrines of the base game. Zelda Dungeon: shrines added by the Expansion Pass do not count. The shrine map lists every shrine.
- The monk of the last shrine gives you the side quest A Gift from the Monks.
- Travel to Rona Kachta Shrine in the Forgotten Temple and go behind it: three chests stand in front of the goddess statue, one for each piece (Zelda Dungeon).

Active when all three pieces are at ★★ or higher.
Zelda Dungeon: the bonus “increases damage output when holding R to shoot beams from the Master Sword” It needs the Master Sword. The pieces have no effect of their own.

Each piece is tied to one dragon — Farosh for the Cap, Dinraal for the Trousers, Naydra for the Tunic — and needs two scales, two claws, two fang shards and two horn shards of that dragon over the four stars. The pieces do not share materials, so the tables are per piece.
